HC 5.4: A few websites on Islamic Spirituality ….
An email I sent to selected friends who had an interest in Islamic Spirituality.
23.01.15
Dear Christian Friend,
I have sent you these few websites on Islamic Spirituality to you as I think you would be interested in these from a Christian viewpoint. In the face of a growing Islamic presence in our Western culture, how should we act as followers of Jesus Christ towards people in Islam? When I read and pray the Barnabas and Open Doors Prayer News with Harriet, I could get greatly depressed. We often do not hear about the wonderful things God is bringing about in the Islamic world.
I trust you appreciate these websites. I would love some feedback. http://www.rediscoveringthekingdom.info/.. By Derek Brown who I heard two years ago at Church. AWESOME!! One of his posts is: Learning to love the enemy in Iraq‘:

Whats an Infidel? Circulating Emails on negative views on Muslim Spirituality. January 2014
Rob in Sydney:
Circulating of emails like this one will do nothing to help us have a good attitude to Muslims that might help them come to know Jesus which should surely be our aim.
The following link gives some interesting research on why Muslims become Christians and has implications for Christians who want to Gospel to go to all people:
http://johnharmstrong.typepad.com/john_h_armstrong_/2010/01/why-do-Muslims-become-jesus-followers.html
(Note: The research cited here was that done by Fuller seminary producing some interesting info on how/why Muslims become Christians. J. Dudley Woodberry, dean emeritus and senior professor of Islamic Studies at the School of Intercultural Studies at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California, has served at the Christian Study Center in Rawalpindi, Pakistan, and as a pastor in Kabul, Afghanistan and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. When Woodberry speaks about evangelizing Muslims I take notice (the author says).
This is an extract from the website:
I have thought a great deal about the Muslim problem in the world, especially in our own major cities. I have also thought about the fear and reaction of many Christians. I pray, Lord, open our eyes to see the harvest that you are preparing among Muslims. Get us ready to love and embrace these neighbors as our brothers and sisters. No government in the world has a real solution to radical Islam. Christians have the only lasting and culture-changing solution. Do we really believe it? What if we did? How would we talk and pray if we did?
